The region of Bel Ombre, underdeveloped over centuries is a region where unemployment rates are important and the people have a low level of education. A significant percentage of households have a low income and their condition is worsened by the rising cost of living. They have placed much hope in the development of the region and aspire to be trained and employed by the newly established hospitality industry.
